The QualityColumn plugin adds support for a 'Password Quality' column.

Installation

In order to install the plugin, copy the files 'QualityColumn.dll', 'QualityColumn.plgx' and 'QualityColumn_ReadMe.html' into the 'Plugins' folder (KeePass can open this folder: menu 'Tools' → 'Plugins' → button 'Open Folder') and restart KeePass.

The 'Password Quality' column can be turned on and off in 'View' → 'Configure Columns'.

If you wish to uninstall the plugin, simply delete the three files.

Performance

As estimating the quality of a password is a computationally intensive task, the quality column can slow down KeePass significantly.

  • If the password quality estimation is disabled for an entry (using the entry dialog of KeePass 2.48 or higher), 'Disabled' is now displayed in the 'Password Quality' column.
