KeePass 1.39 released

You can get it here: Download KeePass 1.39.

This is a stable release. It is recommended to upgrade from any previous 1.x version to 1.39. KeePass 1.39 is 100% backward compatible with previous versions.

KeePass 1.39 mainly features user interface and integration enhancements, and various other minor new features and improvements.

Hashes and signatures for integrity checking are available, and program binaries are digitally signed (Authenticode). New translations are available, too.

Changes from 1.38 to 1.39:

New Features:

  • Added auto-type matching option 'Consider similar dashes as identical' (in 'Tools' → 'Options' → tab 'Advanced' → button 'Auto-Type', turned on by default).
  • If the option 'Do not store data in the Windows clipboard history and the cloud clipboard' is turned on (which it is by default), KeePass now additionally excludes its clipboard contents from processing by Windows' internal ClipboardMonitor component.

Improvements:

  • Upgraded to Boost libraries version 1.75.0.
  • Upgraded installer.
  • Various UI text improvements.
  • Various code optimizations.
  • Minor other improvements.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug that could cause a crash after performing a drag&drop operation into certain other applications.
